What this application is

APX Planner is a cash-flow forecasting application operated by APX Solutions. People sign in with their own account and see only the businesses they have been given access to, with the role the business’s owner chose for them.

What it holds

Your name, email address and sign-in details; and, for each business, the figures entered into it or read from a connected ledger — bank balances, customers and suppliers, invoices and bills, payroll totals, loans and card statements — with a history of who changed what and when.

What it reads from QuickBooks Online

Only when a business connects QuickBooks Online, and only that company: accounts and balances, customers and suppliers, open invoices and bills, and the payments and journal entries the forecast is built from. It requests the com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting scope and never writes to QuickBooks. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and never shown or logged.

Who can see it

The people a business’s owner or admins invite, and APX Solutions as the operator where needed to run and support the service. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising. The service relies on its hosting and database providers, an email delivery provider for invitations and warnings, Intuit when QuickBooks is connected, and the Bank of Canada’s public exchange-rate service, which receives no business data.

Disconnecting and deletion

A QuickBooks connection can be ended at any time in the business’s settings or from Intuit’s connected-apps page, which deletes the stored tokens. An owner can delete a business and everything held for it; you can ask APX Solutions to delete your account at any time.
